FaceHunter Photo I don't know. They're a bit shiny, but I love the heel and the t-strap and they might just be a good juxtaposition with my Sasson McCardell-inspired shirt-dress. Hell, I love the whole freakin' outfit. If only we knew from whence any of this stuff came.
No,you don't need them. I need them.
ReplyDeleteyesyesyesyesyes: to wear with the olive dress!
ReplyDeleteWhy don't I just tell you what to wear?
Very cool. There's a kind of enc-monent going on here with the cuffed jeans! ;)
ReplyDeleteI have another pair you might want to check out, although they are more formal than funky. Go to Saks.com and google Cole Haan. In the shoe section you'll find a deeper red patent slingback. Tell me what you think, please!
I ordered them because I thought they were elegant, but I see they're made in collaboration with Nike air and I'm now very hesitant to keep them. I'm not always thrilled when sports gear goes uptown, though I love McQueen for Puma (where uptown goes sporty).
I think I need those shoes too. Hell, I need every pair of shoes I see these days. But those are great!
ReplyDeleteAlthough they are not the same colour they are similar in the t bar aspect, I was looking at them on shoemetro.com they are by nine west and in the sale! You could easily put an outfit together like this with the shoes I have seen. I have just opened a myUS account to have things shipped over easily!
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are really pretty! I would love to get them!
ReplyDeleteI love them, especially 'cos they're shiny. Patent leather=beautiful, delicious, fabulous and all good things like that.
ReplyDeleteWendyB - Do you not have enough?! LOL
ReplyDeleteEnc: It was on the basis of your suggestion that I cam up with these. So I guess you should just tell me what to wear.
Miss C - I'm going to go that site and let you know my thoughts. BTW - The Nike air technology is excellent. I have so many friends who will only shop at Cole Hahn so that they can buy heels with ergonomics. Worry not!
Etoilee: I'm sure we can both have them :-)
IWALL: I have a 9West down the block from me so I'm going to go check the stock out this weekend. Thanks for the tip.
Nadine: Thanks for your comment.
Bronwyn: I'm on the fence with the patent leather. Sometimes I think it may be too noticeable (this from a girl who wears lame high-waisted tights, I know). But the shine can be a bit much. Mind you, once I'm going red... K
I think you need a pair of shoes like this, in all seriousness. I will quest now.
ReplyDeleteOH wow, I am immediately ripping off this look. I love cuffed jeans like that too...
ReplyDeleteOh K I am so excited - now they are not wedges but the fronts are the same - they are red, they are patent, they have t-bar! check out topshop.com page 2 of High Heels £55! Hope u like em! Its 6.45 am here so hurry and get up as I want you to see these beauties! In fact I'll email a picture!
ReplyDeleteIWALL - Of course, this would be the day I didn't have a chance to check email till 9:30 pm EST. So sorry to keep you waiting on my feedback, which is to say those shoes are gorgeous. I may just have to feature them in another post soon.
ReplyDeleteRiz: I love that cuffed look. Enc has really upped the ante so we better get on board right now!
kind of hard not to adore red patent leather. i have a pair of red patent leather, minus the heel. guess where from... camper. mine look more like little girl sandals, and less like fabulous foot candy. both are good.
ReplyDeleteHey Editor: One of my new pairs of shoes (posts to come) is a prim, flat, patent leather and red. It's got a Vivier thing going on, as far as I'm concerned. Not Camper - a brand I love - but not Camper priced, either. Pls. stay tuned... K
