  4. I was born in Montreal 37 years ago and plan to stay here all my life. I'm teaching my kids that it's the best city in the world :). I love that picture!

  5. I had one of those outside staircases/balconies on my Mtl. apt. Was lovely for an evening glass of wine.

  7. Mardel and Seeker: I heartily concur!

E8: I WISH that were my town. I'm in Toronto, alas, home of all things commerce. Ah, to live in Montreal, home of all things joyous.

Lizzy: Thanks for sharing this with us. You (and they) are very lucky! What neighbourhood are you in?

Miss C: Lots of friends went to McGill and we would sit on their balconies drinking and playing guitar. Such a time...

    Droll: Moi aussi!

Ambika: Indeed there is nothing like it. Hope is everywhere.
