Aspirational Living

It's been a while since I've linked you to one of the endlessly (seemingly non-stop) chic party existence that marks Sandra's life. Here are a few photos to entice you to go view the entire post:

My goal, as I move into my next decade, is to enjoy people and social experiences with this kind of casual spontaneity. And to look entirely elegant while doing it :-)?

What's your next lifestyle goal?

  1. Can I just bogart your goal?

  2. To find a way to make being in L.A. feel like being at home. I think my goal is harder than yours.

  3. I'm glad you are poosting about Sandra. I really like her and have a lot of admiration for her little blog. She appears to be a hard-working 20-something with an extremely active social life but more so I think that she has the makings of a very good role model for girls and teens in general.

she is romantic, intellectual, artistic, seems to eat a little too well, and has a very positive outlook on life, work, and family.

I know all of this quinquagenarian hoo-haw is a certain way to pull the fun out of young person's life, but it must be said that Sandra seems like a nice young girl and I am glad she is blogging.

Contrast her with your own raymitheminx.com and I think you will see what I mean.

  6. I'd like to co-opt your goal too but really I'd like to do that and, since the idea of home is really important to me, pull that together into a home that reflects who I am rather than just giving up and putting it off and giving up and saying I'll get there someday. That I like saying I'll live my life someday.

  7. I think that is a fabulous goal K-line, we should enjoy life, get social markings in and enjoy them even if its to ponder about for just an hour-

  8. Sal: Absolutely!

Bel: You think so? :-) You don't know how hardcore uptight I've managed to be the last 38 years!

D.: I do LOVE her! And, strangely, I've never heard of this Raymi. Can't say I'm going to bookmark the blog - even if I do like to support the locals.

    Seeker: Worthy goal!

Fab in 40s: Thanks for pointing me to your new blog. I'll certainly check it out.

Mardel: Sometimes, it's like I either run around like a crazy person ("Martha Stewart-ing") or languish in "it's all too much" land. Let's both give this some thought. :-)

GJ: It is such an important goal - because it's the joy in life. Strange that it doesn't come entirely naturally!
