On Talismanic Clothing...

I've been rather irritated by the incessant, affected cynicsm on Jezebel lately, but I have to say I was quite drawn in by this great piece.

What piece of clothing has stood the test of time with you?

  1. My navy blue nylon Prada seatbelt jacket. I'll love it forever.

The blue/green hand-printed sundress from Sarah Clothes (do you remember that shop?) that I wore when I met my husband.

  2. I have a pink trench I really love. I felt I paid far too much for it at the time, but it's still current, and I love it.

  3. I'm not going to answer you because I'm resentful that you actually caused me to look at Jezebel and take an interest in one post there. Bad! Bad!

  4. Absolutely none. Is that bad?

That's the first time I went on the Jezebel site in awhile.

  5. Ahh, Prada! Very worthy... I do remember Sarah Clothes, Miss C! I still wear the shade of lipstick I was wearing when I met my husband (Bobbie Brown, Raisin).

Enc: Who's it by? (Not that it matters, but I'm curious.) A pink trench is for always!

Wendy: I understand. I deserve this comment. :-)

StyleRaven: Not bad, simply interesting. Maybe there's a talismanic piece in your future?
