Could my fundamental exhibitionism be more evident?! Here are the new glasses - and the tiniest part of the H & M shirt I bought. FYI - There is so not enough fabric on that shirt if you eat one Oreo cookie. What was I thinking?
BTW - This is one of the first shots with the new Canon SLR. I'm am not joking when I tell you that this camera is so awesome that it will cook your dinner and pick up your dry cleaning in addition to taking your picture. The resolution on the photo above has been converted to web quality so that it isn't the size of a small application. And still it is so much clearer than anything else to date. Gotta love technology - even if you have no idea of how it works!

Love the glasses--and your short hair, of course!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Miss C. K
ReplyDeleteHi again--K-Line,
ReplyDeleteI've just posted in response to your tag; I've revealed the contents of my closet and dressing philosophy! Eeeek!
the new glasses are excellent... but jesus your face looks thin, woman! hook yourself up with some double bacon tomorrow, on me.
ReplyDeleteI really like that lipstick, btw. little bit softer if I'm not mistaken?
looking good in any case... and the blog is a hoot
S: I love that you left me a comment - and that it refers to the eating of bacon! It is a softer colour more of a pink with violet undertone. I'm going to go out tomorrow (on vacay this week) and see if I can't get something in this colour tone that's Bobbi Brown. I say, why not spend 25 bucks on lipstick. So glad you like this blog. Keep reading. K
ReplyDeletesheesh...i need to marry this camera! you look fabulous in those glasses. (and is that top an animal print? rawr!) three cheers for exhibitionism...
ReplyDeleteI like your glasses!
ReplyDeleteI confess to not really knowing anything about digital cams (hence the lack of personal photos on my blog perhaps!) but the clarity here is incredible. And your haircut is awesome btw.the glasses are great. I will soon be on the hunt for a pair, so if you have any brand recommendations...
ReplyDeleteAtelier: Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteRiz: My gadget-crazy husband literally spent more than a mortgage payment on this thing (much to my horror) but it's seriously amazing on the photo quality front. You should see the clarity of the file that wasn't downsampled for the web.
Thanks so much for your lovely comments (and your great blog). I really like Face a Face for glasses. They even have a website with all the latest frames.
Dreamecho: LOL. It's high praise to get a compliment from someone with such great style as you!
Awwww yeah, you look great in your glasses! I love your hair in this photo. I'm sorry the shirt is short shrift.
ReplyDeleteGreat glasses, they really do suit you!
ReplyDeleteAha! These are quite similar to my glasses! LOVE them!
ReplyDeleteAfter some trial and error (costly), I figured out that I needed a wider frame (my face is fairly narrow, though) and it was that, plus the essential chic of brown tortoise, that finally made me able to face daylight in glasses.
You look fantastic!
Thanks Enc, Suzanna and Miss White:
ReplyDeleteI was so nervous to post this pic but the response has been so generous and positive. Now I love these glasses too :-)
Suzanna: My face is pretty narrow too and I find the wid(er) frame quite complementary to that shape. You should post your pic too!
Thanks for being brave enough to post that photo. It's really fantastic.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo and glasses! You look like a woman who is totally comfortable in her skin.
ReplyDelete~Abbie
Thank you Anonymous Abbie. That sounds just like something my mother would say :-)
