Hey everyone: I'm surprised this is such a hit. I have to say that Vicki Archer's stairs are just as appealing, and might work better with the wood grain of the stairs. I guess we're all very stylin' :-)
Form/Function. Line/Curve. Safe/Risk. Art/Craft. Body/Mind.
Fashion intersects these. It's how we express what is popular in what is personal. It's where intellect debates sex; where soft and hard duke it out. So much mystery underpins beautiful things. So much confidence rests upon them. Discuss.
Heck yes! In a heartbeat.
ReplyDeleteIt looks really nice!
ReplyDeleteHow fun!
ReplyDeleteYes! But I wouldn't use that colour of wood for the tops of the steps.
ReplyDeleteOn Vicki Archer's French Essence blog, she had some amazing leopard print stairs that made me want to run up them like a wild animal.

ReplyDeleteHypnotic!
ReplyDeleteNever! But I love it here. I could imagine something different for the risers, though.
ReplyDeletethis is a brilliant idea! i must remember this if i ever get into a place with stairs!
ReplyDeleteI would love to, but they'd get too scuffed. So we have some historically appropriate carpet running up the stairs.
ReplyDeleteThe words "wallpaper your stair risers" makes me cringe.
ReplyDeleteThe image, however, makes me love.
Wendy: You are getting very sleepy.
ReplyDeleteE: What would you use instead?
Moomby: Definitely!
Miss C: I'm sure your stairs are as lovely as the rest of your home.
Ricky: Sorry to have creeped you out! :-)
Oh I want stairs just so I can do something like this! Not sure I'd go for zebra though, so many other options!
