Turkish Delight

My world-traveling friend Sandra brought me a couple of unbelievably beautiful gifts back from Istanbul for Xmas.

Look at this tremendously luxe silk scarf:

I feel practically as glamorous as Niotillfem, posting about it. It looks perfect with my fur vest and a bright yellow vneck I've been wearing.

  10. I'm kind of new to this fashion blog business so I had no idea who "Niotillfem" was until you mentioned her above.

I just perused the pictures of her on Metrobloggen - niotillfem. Is this the young lady you are referring to?

Amazing! Oh, to be young, rich, beautiful, and accompanied by a highly skilled photog while I party across Europe!

  11. Thanks so much everyone for your lovely comments! A few of you have mentioned recently that I should take shots of me wearing these new things. I totally concur. Challenge is that my photog has been either totally busy or sick as a dog lately. But I'm really hoping for some photo sessions this weekend so pls. stay tuned!

Jill: The roses are spectacular up close!

Bel: Secretly, I like the candy, but only the stuff that's really from Turkey. The ersatz stuff is hideous!

Maverick: I will post me wearing it (pls. see above).

D.: The very same! Isn't she hard to take? I mean, I love that blog but it makes my life feel very, um, responsible :-)
