Wendy: Of course, you are correct. Which is why I hate it too. But in Mtl. it sticks around for months! We should move there.
Thanks Janet. I'd love to see some outside shots of your beautiful environment...
Sal: When I read your comment I laughed out loud. I am so NOT an Xmas person. I'm a humbug who tries to escape it all. I have no idea what's happened to me this year. Seriously. It's a lapse in character and it may not recur. So we should enjoy it while we can! :-)
I love little houses like the one in the second pic.
As for snow sticking around MTL, only the snow where there's little traffic looks nice and white. Like my alleyway. The city streets look gross at the moment.
These are absolutely beautiful.. and the teal Motif on the house.. too cute for words.. but I love snow in the city... well except for the AFTER of course with slush and grime and all.. the mere Smell of snow.. what is that.. how does snow smell.. hehe
MDS: It's apparently gonna stick around for a few days. They're calling this snowstorm Snowmageddon?!?
Miss C: Do you mean the one at Nathan Phillips Square or the one that used to be at Hazelton Lanes (it's not there anymore. They've totally rich-people trashed that place.)
Raven: Given that I want to go to Mtl. so bad this Xmas, it makes me feel a bit better to know it's slushy crappy. Not that I wouldn't take it.
GJ: Ah, the smell of Snow :-) Not quite gingerbread!
Songy and Skye: You with your laser sunbeams and swimming pools. No gloating allowed!
Thanks Maegan. That's one of my fave neighbourhood houses.
E: Funny you should ask. It's almost buried at this point. Those little trees are, well, still really little!
Form/Function. Line/Curve. Safe/Risk. Art/Craft. Body/Mind.
Fashion intersects these. It's how we express what is popular in what is personal. It's where intellect debates sex; where soft and hard duke it out. So much mystery underpins beautiful things. So much confidence rests upon them. Discuss.
I hate snow in the city -- it turns to dirty slush in an hour!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! What a great Christmas setting.
ReplyDeleteK.Line, I never would've pegged you such a Christmas lover!

ReplyDeleteSo cute and pretty! I could take some photos of the white christmas we're having here, but by "white" I would mean blindingly laser like beams of sun.
