Photo from Spacing Montreal. This scene is veritably "downtown". You can just walk up that mountain for exercise - and access to one of the most unexpected water and city vistas in the world. Plus there's hot chocolate at the top! |

Me, too....
ReplyDeleteMaybe in a few years?
DeleteDreaming of a cafe au lait (en bol) at Duc de Lorraine. . . with a brioche en sucre to dip . . . . after a long walk up the hill, in the snow . . . .
ReplyDeleteAh, way to add to the torment :-) At least it's sunny here today. I mean, sunny and -18.
DeleteWow! Dose of reality! Maybe I'll stay here, on the grey coast where it's 7 degrees ABOVE the zero . . . ;-)
DeleteUm, becasue it's freaking cold there? :)
ReplyDeleteOh, c'mon. I have a fur and lots of cashmere!
DeleteHmmm mmmm
ReplyDeleteIs that a yes or a no? :-)
DeleteAhhh, some of my most memorable dining moments have been in Montreal. I used to stay with a beau's family in the chateau apts across from the Ritz (shameless status drop, I know) and savour the weekend ...
ReplyDeleteI love those apts on Sherbrooke!
DeleteOh... I love Montreal. And the mac+cheese at Olive et Gourmando in Vieux Montreal launched my quest for the perfect recipe.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know - btw, I ordered that book!
