    i can't think of many people who could pull it off. i'm not even sure the model does...

    I like a lot of VPL's underwear-as-outerwear tops, but this get-up doesn't even flatter an underweight teenager. It's hard to picture it on a "real" woman!

    Actually, I think it is kind of interesting. Not in a "my, what a great outfit you have on" but at least in a "wow. what is that?!" kind of way.

    unflattering, absolutely. but is fashion always about looking good? do we only like art when it is pretty?

    Fruchtzwerg: When a gorgeous model looks miserable (and unattractive) it's just bad.

    IHeart: So true. What's worse is it makes the model look very asymmetrical.

    Wendy: I know! That's exactly what I thought. What ever happened to "smile through your pain"??

    StyleRaven: It does mean visible panty line. It's an underwear line, as I understand it, that went underwear as outerwear. And now it's trying to run two separate lines (one outer, one under) though they both seem rather inappropriate to me.

    S: I knew I could count on you to be the voice of dissent. I'm all for jolie laide, but this is over the line. When something is this ugly, I say bargain bin it. Just my opinion, of course.
