Just want to say a quick hello - and to let you know that normal programming should be back in a week or so.
In the meanwhile, here's a photo to show you a) my finished Aisance cardigan and b) my (soon to be blogged about) skinny sweat pants from Roots.
(I really am making an effort to show my face here even when I'm not feeling gorgeous...)
Mega thanks to Andrea for taking lots o' pics and for so excellently hosting me and Sara at her new home in the County last weekend.
I like both items!!! And always lovely to see your smiling face. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, thanks!
DeleteI vote for more pics of you!
ReplyDeleteI second that!
DeleteI'm trying! And thank you!
DeleteIt's camouflage! (But stylish, fashionista camouflage of the highest order).
ReplyDeleteHa! I'm going with that!
DeleteEnjoy your break! Your cardi looks great and I'm curious to read what you have to say about the skinny sweats. I just bought a pair from J Crew -- I never wear sweats, really, but the slimmer version works and OMG they're so comfortable!
ReplyDeleteIt's like wearing a cloud. SO fantastic. I mean, they're sweat pants - which isn't the optimal fashion-wear, but I'm surprised by how relatively structured they look
DeleteLooking fabulous! And, I'm so glad to read a post from you!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pam!
DeleteI just got those same sweats this weekend at the 30% off sale.
ReplyDeleteI went the weekend before and then tried to get a price rebate and they said no. Could have returned the pants and rebought them but I'd have had to have them on hand.
Deletecute outfit! and we could stand to see more of that smile ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa!
DeleteHello! I just wanted to say how nice it was to see you again. Not that I don't mind reading posts... but it's also nice to see the gal behind the blog. :D
ReplyDeleteI agree - but I'm not the best at walking the talk. I can't wait to see your knit dresses on you!
DeleteI liked seeing your smiling face. Thanks to Andrea! Your outfit looks great!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rose. I'm quite happy with the fit of the Aisance. It was also a fairly relaxing project. I recommend it (with modifications). And Andrea takes some nice photos (I'm grateful to say...)
DeleteYour cardigan looks great! And I second the vote for more pictures of you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alexandra! I'm going to try to feel photogenic throughout the fall :-)
DeleteThe cardigan looks wonderful and I am glad you finally posted a picture of it, and your smiling face. The sweats Intrigue me. I haven't given in yet, telling myself I don't really wear sweats, but the temptation grows daily.
ReplyDeleteThanks M! They intrigue more and more - especially as the styles evolve.
DeleteI am liking skinny, slouch sweats these days (blogged a couple of days ago about that seemingly contradictory look). And your cardigan is a masterpiece, of course!
ReplyDeleteIt is contradictory. But compelling for all that. And thank you so much for your lovely compliment about the sweater.
