Do You Agree?

The things kids carve into wet cement these days...

PS: My mother arrives for a visit today so I'll be taking a few days off. Will return next week. Have a great few days, y'all!

  1. I had to think about it for a minute. I suppose I would have initially said,"passion is the soul of genious." But, I suppose you have to love what you are doing to have passion about it. So, yes; I agree!

Have a lovely visit with your mother!

  2. Yes, kids these days have sometimes so creativity.
    Very interesting.

You will be missed, but I hope you'll have great quality time with your mother. Enjoy and have fun :)

  4. Very poetic!
I remember when we just used to carve our initials into wet cement - this is so much more inspired!
Have a fab weekend, Darling K-line!

  5. Not sure I agree ... seems a bit oversimplified. But an interesting sentiment.

    Enjoy mom-time!

  6. I'd like to believe that. I love that the scratched-in stuff isn't swearwords or the like.

    Have fun with your mom!

  7. It's a nice sentiment, but unlikely to be true - plenty of brilliant ideas rise from anger, cruelty, fear and a million other less noble human impulses than love.

Can you tell I watched a documentary about the Manhattan Project and the Nazi nuclear research program last night?

  8. Too bad it is not true but I'd love to get my hands on the young person who was poetic with words and pick their brain. It amazes me what thoughts spring from their minds, usually with no intent behind them.

  11. I think it would make me smile as I passed by; which would be nice. I also think if Sister wolf had written her favourite word, about her favourite Governor, that would make me smile too!

  12. Hey everyone, thanks for your feedback about this. Everytime I walk over this patch of ground, I'll be considering your interesting opinions!

PS - I'm back today. Just trying to get back into the swing of my life and I hope to post something later on...

  13. Footpath wisdom, where would we be without it? I found my wakeup call on a footpath by the beach..."Are you where you want to be?"
I wasn't, but now I am, and it's all thanks to mysterious footpath writer.
