And I love how you're giving your kids a great, over the top tradition. Let's see if they rebel and put this up when they're 25 - or if they stick to the OTT :-)K.Linehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15350615302797686048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1606088928583067206.post-14246072876254374822008-12-21T02:51:00.000-05:002008-12-21T02:51:00.000-05:00This tree would make an excellent necklace rack.It...This tree would make an excellent necklace rack.

It's too stark for me. I grew up without Christmas trees, without santa and basically without christmas (not for any other reason than my parents thought it 'too commercial'). So I go whole hog on the tree, my kids decorate - so it's ugly as hell and completely unbalance (all on oneside close to the ground), but one of my favourite memories was going to a neighbours house to decorate their tree, and it's something I want my kids to enjoy and love about christmas.Imogen Lamport, AICI CIPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16796095692232856223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1606088928583067206.post-16773664425399333042008-12-10T14:10:00.000-05:002008-12-10T14:10:00.000-05:00Mattie: I absolutely covet that buffet. But I think the fun (and real beauty) is in the chopping, the messy pine needles, the decorating, and the happy children inspecting and reinspecting their handiwork.Miss Cavendishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17461488799928956875noreply@blogger.com
