Sometimes meditation is replaced by the banal. But it comes back.

tanitisis - Oh, I'm confused by what you're saying. I have so many thoughts in my mind I need to think this over some more. Or maybe email for clarification. I used to have an hour's daily walk on my way to work and I MISS it.

Re. reducing the seam allowances---just remember doing this will increase your armscye and neck circumferences. If you're reducing your SAs by 1/8", that'll give you 1/4" extra for each seam, so potentially 1" on the armscye (vs. 1/2" to the sleeve pieces) and 1/2" extra on the neck. Assuming my early-morning match is anything like correct ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1606088928583067206.post-41816408068677446782010-09-25T11:20:02.795-04:002010-09-25T11:20:02.795-04:00I love the symbolism of how movement( walking) and...I love the symbolism of how movement( walking) and space help create the move from one persona to the next. My walking doesn't do that. My walking is about walking. I start and end at the same place and Lily is always with me so I don't get lost in my thoughts the way I used to. I miss that. It was one of the things I loved about Chicago. I walked to and from the train and that I could sit alone in some kind of quiet and I could come close to a moving/sitting meditation.
p.s. I am so glad you have lovely readers who can give you feedback on your sewing projects. All I can do is be impressed by your dedication, your passion and the resulting product.La Belette Rougehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05686717070120116918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1606088928583067206.post-30506890614317706952010-09-24T19:43:13.554-04:002010-09-24T19:43:13.554-04:00I am walking either to or from work this year (abo...I am walking either to or from work this year (about 1.5 miles) and agree. So that you can "transform", think and create while walking seems totally normal to me!!ClaireOKChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05794385586295229490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1606088928583067206.post-8226466908323080842010-09-24T15:10:18.238-04:002010-09-24T15:10:18.238-04:00I do love these long rambling posts filled with id...I do love these long rambling posts filled with ideas.
