Knitting it is kind of a torment, IMO. I would prefer stranded colourwork over lace most days (though I more often do lace, because stranding patterns don't generally "call" to me). OMG - the Quechua is so well priced given the fibers. I was hesitant because I thought it might seem cheap but it is very luxe.K.Linehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15350615302797686048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1606088928583067206.post-58629472971808659952017-07-06T20:07:50.667-04:002017-07-06T20:07:50.667-04:00I've never done one of her designs before (at ...I've never done one of her designs before (at least I don't think I have) but I've been keeping my eye on them forever... I also adore that asymmetrical sweater... I'm starting to branch out into "real" knitting--two rows of colorwork on a hat, and now working on my first lace project. Current verdict is that knitted lace is way harder than stranded colorwork, and I'm not convinced it's worth the effort when crochet lace is so easy and intuitive. Maybe I will try a sweater sometime soon.Keilexandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10829409796775187413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1606088928583067206.post-19841083369823687942017-07-06T03:31:24.507-04:002017-07-06T03:31:24.507-04:00Love these yarns. I'm mulling over my knitting options for autumn at the moment. It's tough to narrow it down! #firstworldproblems ;-)Evie Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17838980250700215736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1606088928583067206.post-21982874294330929142017-07-02T16:35:51.996-04:002017-07-02T16:35:51.996-04:00Money spent on yarn comes out of the entertainment...Money spent on yarn comes out of the entertainment budget not the clothing budget.MakeitAnyWearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06370808424691476472noreply@blogger.com
