Yes! But I wouldn't use that colour of wood for the tops of the steps.
On Vicki Archer's French Essence blog, she had some amazing leopard print stairs that made me want to run up them like a wild animal.
Hey everyone: I'm surprised this is such a hit. I have to say that Vicki Archer's stairs are just as appealing, and might work better with the wood grain of the stairs. I guess we're all very stylin' :-)

I would love to, but they'd get too scuffed. So we have some historically appropriate carpet running up the stairs.
The words "wallpaper your stair risers" makes me cringe.The image, however, makes me love.
